FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
MICCOSUKEE MASSACRE

SATURDAY JUNE 17, 2000
Miccosukee Senior High School
Miami, Florida
Bell Time: 7:30 PM

It was an evening during which, the talent of exceptional wrestlers combined with fabulous story lines, made possible a remarkable wrestling show. It was also an evening during which the courage, the fierceness and the professionalism of the wrestlers, were extraordinary. It was another perfect example of the unique style of the Florida Championship Wrestling. Once again, its management brought an extraordinary pro wrestling spectacle.

We watched Billy Fives in two of his electrifying flights, yes, he flew twice that evening in his distinctive and very particular style that we believe some eagles are trying to learn. “Latin Prodigy” Tony Apollo, executed amazing Olympian gymnastic maneuvers that became even more spectacular, due to his big cruserweight size. Chris Charger, once again, displayed his high-flying style. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese brought his charisma and experience, as well as Anthony Michaels, who reminded us of his old times in the ECW as the original " Little Snot Dudley". Talking about experience and charisma, the participation of Joe Gomez and Ricky Santana contributed to make the evening even more exciting and unique.

As the appropriate lobby for a great show, Downtown Dave of WrestleLine.com conducted interesting interviews with Anthony Michaels, Tony Apollo, Chris Charger, and Duke Droese.

Anthony Michaels and Billy Fives fought in an almost tight match. As predicted, this was a "fast paced athletic match." Each contender showed the best of their flying amazing wrestling skills. It was unbelievable that Anthony Michaels survived one of Billy's incredible splash from the turnbuckle. Michaels took control of the action and became the winner of the match via DDT. Exciting and brave actions like the ones developed during this unforgettable match, should be programmed again. Is Billy Fives going to receive the opportunity for revenge? Will Michaels be successful again? Certainly any future encounter between these two stars will be as memorable as this.

Anthony Adonis vs. “Latin Prodigy” Tony Apollo. These two extraordinary wrestlers and ex-team mates brought more than a match to remember. It was a historical match that apparently ended the FP&L, as we know it. Through a display of his thrilling aerial wrestling repertoire, Apollo controlled the entire match and literally won it via his unique and powerful form of scorpion deadlock/sharpshooter. It was at this point that their partner Billy Fives saved Adonis from the dominating power of Apollo. Billy betrayed Apollo, sided with Adonis and helped him to win the match. During after-match actions, Fives and Adonis, pummeled Apollo. Now, there are many incognitos. Is this betrayal the end of Apollo’s brilliant career as part of the FP&L? Is the Latin Prodigy preparing a historical vengeance or is he just concentrating in his bright future as solo wrestler? Sure that the answers will be known during future shows.

Charisma, wildness, bloodthirstiness, and violence were the elements of the fierce match between two great figures, the charismatic ex-WWF Duke “The Dumpster” Droese, FCW Heavyweight Champion, and the vicious “Mr. Extreme” Pat McGuire, FOW Heavyweight Champion. Both rival federations were well represented by some of their respective best wrestlers. At the end of a non-stopping action match, between chair shoots, body slams, flying elbows and legs and as posted on the FCW site, during a “Bloodbath, a double DQ took place for Droese and Mr. Extreme.” The post also states that “FCW/FOW feud hits high gear!!! The Dumpster finds ally in Manager Gyno Jabrone and stabs white eagle in the back!!!” What's next? What are both rival federations preparing to punish each other? Secret work! No one knows!

Originally planned as a match between “Live Wire” Chris Charger and Barry Horowitz, it was Chris vs. former WCW star Ricky Santana. Chris demonstrated that he is one of the best high-flying, high-risk taking wrestlers in the state. His experience, allowed Ricky Santana to take control of the actions and defeated Chris with a stunner. We still expect to see Chris vs. Horowitz.

A mixed Hardcore Tag Team Match. Bobby Rogers and Midget D vs. Larry Lane and Little Lone Eagle. A fierce encounter that came out of the ring and spilled into the crowd Chair shoots, baking pans, skillets, mopes and every instrument that you can think of in a kitchen was used during this match. At the end of the match, and as posted on the FCW site, "Team of Lone Eagle and Larry Lane triumph over Midget D and Bobby Rogers! Larry Lane has his way for five minutes with Vicious Vinnie Scarpo leaving slimeball manager bruised and battered!" It was a great victory of Little Lone Eagle in the day of his retirement after 25 years of ring glory!

The pride of the Reservation, Chief White Eagle vs. Holly Terror, Bruno Sassi managed by Fabulous Frank. Remaining undefeated at reservation, Chief White Eagle won by countout. After the match, Bruno and Frank attacked White Eagle. These after-match actions included a run-in by Duke Droese, who in an unusual action, used a huge 2"x4" stud instead of his traditional trash can, to culminate the actions against Chief White Eagle. Commissioner Bernie Siegel, ordered Droese to defend his FCW Heavyweight title against Chief White Eagle during the next show at Big Cypress. Thrilling and remarkable actions are expected during this upcoming title match.

The diabolic actions from the "Master of Darkness", the controversial Abudadein, turned against him during the match between his disciple Hack Meyers, and Joe Gomez. As posted on the FCW site, "Warrior Joe Gomez pinned Hack Meyers! Master of Darkness Abudadein's interference backfires! Errant blow from staff, crushes his own man! Two wacks to the head and back of FCW superfan Harry Jackson earns Abudadein two weeks suspension from Commissioner Bernie Siegel! Harry says that he will return to FCW events and questions Abudadein's manhood!!" What happened to your witchcraft, Abudadein?

Next FCW show will be at Big Cypress Reservation on July 15, 2000. Great actions are expected. There will also be a show for the members of the Boys and Girls Club of Miami on July 6, 2000.
