So what is the Tappers Anonymous Program?
		When I started at UCSB, I was extrememly saddened to find that there was no tap dance anywhere on campus. My girlfriend came up with a great idea, why not start a tap dance club? Then, of course, I only talked about it for a year. Last year, I decided to go ahead and start a club up, but I didn't have a good name. I couldn't bear starting a club called, Tap Dance Club. How boring is that? So I waited until the great name came: the Tappers Anonymous Program (it's an acronym too... TAP... its so witty that I didn't come up with it. My friend Michelle did) So I filled out the paperwork, spent a few afternoon tapping near the Arbor and passing out flyers, and we started meeting. We've had a pretty good number of people show up to dance. Ranging from 9 to just me, but I've had fun doing it. What I hope to happen in this next year is the outgrowth of a performance ensemble. We'll even have a name: Tapped Out (it goes with our theme... if you don't understand that reference, come to the club and ask) Saturdays will continue, and I hope if you've read this, you'll come check us out.
