The Maiden In The Meadow
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I saw across the meadow
A charger rare ..so white
And on his back a Lass so fair
Holding with all her might.

Her cloak it trailed behind her
Wind a flowing in her hair
She rode him proud and freely
Rode without a care.

She seemed at one with nature
The wind, the air ... the earth
Ride oh ride fair maiden
Ride for all you're worth.

Don't take the road with toll gate
Where all exact their fee
Ride the mountain meadow
And beach along the sea.

Your ride will not be stunted
By those who bar the way
You'll ride among the moon and stars
Along the Milky Way.

Some will ask 'Have you seen her?'
My answer will be 'Yes,
I've seen her grace and beauty
And her fingers did caress.'

I stared in wonder, disbelief
As she cast a glance my way
And I shall smile remembering,
Crossing paths that wondrous day.
All Of These I Find In You
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Butterflies and bumblebees
Sturdy oaks and willow trees
Meadows full of flowers wild
Laughter of a little child
Touch of silk, velvet too
All of these I find in you.

Tender Lady, fair of face
Full of verve, full of grace
Your hand in mine, such solace there
Wind and rain upon your hair
Giving comfort,  taking too
All of these I find in you

Siren's song and whispered prayer
unadorned and full of flair
Eyes of green that draw me near
Angel voice is what I hear
Measured pace and passion too.
Fill My Thirst
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Precious Chalice in finger tips
let me hold you to my lips

Drawing in the purest wine
Fill my thirst ... oh woman mine.

Feel my hands caress you slow
A touch none but you shall know

Take the best I have to give
Feel our spirits join and live

Owner of my heart and soul
Keeper of the flame below,

Hear Sweet One ...my loving call
My Queen my breath, my blood my all.

One small craft
on a wild and stormy sea
Sailing against the wind
It often seems to be
But the captain
Hoists the mainsail
Day after thundrous day
He must keep on sailing
He knows no other way.
Some may question the journey
Others do not see,
He sails not for the cheering,
Nor Cup of Victory
The voice he hears is his alone
His compass and his guide
Searching for the sure way home
To the Lady he keeps inside.
