Our Little Family
Currently, our little family consists of Andrew, myself and Kinsey the cat.  We all came together in April 2004 when Andrew and I got married.

Andrew is from the small town of Chipley, Florida.

Andrew joined the army many years ago and we are currently stationed in Germany where Andrew works at the hospital.

Andrew stays pretty busy with work and school.  He's currently taking his last class to earn his Associates degree.  Then, he has to take 2 chemistry classes and hopes to get accepted into the Army PA program in San Antonio, Texas.

Although he's busy, Andrew still has accomplished many things while in Germany.  He earned soldier of the month in September 2004.  In 2005, Andrew completed the German Sports Badge competition and took the gold.  Only about 120 soldiers over the past 10 years have received this award.  It consists of 3 different activities that you have to complete over a years time.  The activities are an 18 mile ruck march, a track and field day with several events you have to pass such as swimming, running, high jump, etc. and a day where you go to the range and qualify on German weapons.  In 2006, Andrew began taking guitar lessons and can play some pretty good songs now!

I grew up in the small town of Kernersville, North Carolina and received my degree in business at Elon College.

Every other week I am a stay at home wife.  On the opposite weeks, I do work part time at the commissary processing payroll to help keep me out of trouble!

In my free time, I've managed to get myself involved in some clubs over here.   When I first arrived, I was the secretary for the PWOC Bible study group at Landstuhl and the membership coordinator for the KLSA (spouses association).  Once I started working, I decided to scale back a little on everything and am currently only holding one position as the Newborn Photos Coordinator for the spouses group.  I get to go and take pictures of all the newborn babies in the hospital!  If ever I'm having a bad day, my mood changes once I see all of those babies!
About Kinsey:

Kinsey was adopted from the SPCA in August 2003 after her previous owner died.  We're not sure what breed she is but she is tortie in color with long hair.  Andrew thinks she's ugly - I think she looks like a cross between Andrew and I - she has both dark and red hair!

When she's not sleeping or cuddling with one of us, she is busy meowing as much as possible.  She loves chasing the birds - although she's an indoor cat which means she's been running into the windows and glass door a lot!  She's also VERY responsible and tries to make sure we're awake on time even if it's the weekend and we're trying to sleep in.  It's very funny because Andrew is the one usually getting up for work so she climbs over me and gets right up in his face and starts meowing!  And lastly, we don't need to sing in the shower, Kinsey does it for us.  Everytime one of us takes a shower, she sits right outside the bathroom door and begins to howl and continues to do so until we're out.
