He thinks it's better to be on your own. Lady's worries disappear when the baby is born. And everything is the same again. Then Jim and Darling go on a trip and aunt Sarah comes over to babysit. She brings her cats along and they know how to terrorise poor Lady. Aunt Sarah doesn't like Lady and takes her to a petstore, and Lady escapes her when she is given a muzzle. Lady runs into some streetdogs, but then there's Tramp to save her. He frees her for her muzzle and shows her how life can be on the streets. They dine together at Tony's and sleep in the park. But Lady can't give up her life with Jim and Darling, so she decides to go back. Tramp understands. On their way back, she is captured by a dog catcher and brought to the pound.
