As a rapidly emerging artist, Mel Donohoe works largely in installation and performance, sometimes with video. She has worked in collaboration with other artists and her daughter, exhibiting in France and England, frequently in unconventional sites.
Following a year long placement as artist in residence in schools, she has been a recipient of a number of awards and commissions for her works.
