Tardoan Kennels started in Queensland in1998 when I bred my first Italian Greyhound litter. Since then I have had two more litters. One Italian Greyhound and one Chinese Crested. I have lived with dogs all of my life. My parents having Wondoan Kennels in Queensland. They have helped me along the way with my showing and breeding dogs. I got my first Italian Greyhound from Graham and Carolyn Wright of Sheung Kennels when I was five years of age. This started mum and dad off in Italian Greyhounds. A big step down from Great Danes and Pointers.
A few years ago I got my first Chinese Crested from Keith and Bev Rose in Queensland. A powder puff bitch. Unfortunately CC only had one litter with one puppy. A lovely little hairless crested boy named Ty. Ty had a very successful show career here in Australia. He is now living in Norway where he has had success both in the show ring and the bedroom so to speak. With over 30 offspring to his name.
I am also now breeding and showing cavies (guinea pigs). Unfortunately since we have moved to Leeton there are not many shows down here. I have had some success with Abyssinians and am now concentrating on breeding the longhaired varieties of Sheltie and Texel.
