Crimson Rose
My personal dedication to the Executioner herself; Anita Blake.  For those of you who don't know who I'm talking about and read books that would be rated R, go read the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton.  You'll find a list of them later on this page.
This is Laurell K. Hamilton, for those of you who haven't read the books (and should be going to the library/store right now to do so!). She also wrote the Merrideth Gentry books, and Nightseer.

((I have now officially been to a book signing and I have the pics to prove it! *dances up and down* YAYNESS! *ahem* Micah is now out! It's WAY too short... but still good... lol... the nurses of Philly will never be the same....))

JC: Oh, you are on your own with ma petite. She is my human servant, so declared before the council, but she answers to no one.
Sabin: You seem proud of that.
JC: She is the Executioner and has more vampire kills than any other human. She is a necromancer of such power that you have travelled halfway around the world to consult her. She is my human servant without a mark to hold her. She dates me without the aid of vampire glamour. Why should I not be pleased?

Anita: Jesus, are all vampires over 200 perverts?
JC: I am over 200.
Anita: I rest my case.

Anita: You are drunk.
JC: I believe I am.
Anita: You can't be drunk on blood.
JC: I've drunk deep of two mortals, but neither of you are human.
Anita: What the hell are you talking about?
JC: Necromancer with a chaser of werewolf; a drink to make any vampire giddy.

JC: What do you offer me, ma petite?
Anita: Blood.
JC: And sex?
Anita: Which would you rather have, right this minute?
JC: Blood.
Anita: Remember, it was your choice.
JC: Touche, ma petite, but I am beginning to have hopes that this will not be the last time I am given the choice.

Anita: One thing I could always depend on was Jean-Claude. Pain in the ass that he was, he always seemed to be there. Dependable in his own twisted way.

Anita: I could bitch and complain about Jean-Claude all I wanted, but compared to most Masters of the City, he was a pussy cat. A big, dangerous, carnivorous pussycat, but still, it was an improvement.
