Meanwhile (sort of) Jason finds himself surrounded by about twenty zombies. He starts hacking at them, slashing the wall of walking dead around him with little results. Suddenly a strange orb lands in the middle of the battle, and when it detonates, all the zombies start to disintergrate. Sharon comes out from around a corner and smiles, saying that she wasn't sure if it would work or not but Shawn's latest invention seems to be a success. Jason is shocked to see how Sharon looks. She's got a scar down the right side of her face and has a patch over her right eye. She also looks about six or seven years older than the last time he saw her.....five minutes before that.
Seeing his confusion, Sharon figures out that Misty must have succeeded in her spell and that Jason's mind was exchanged with his future self's mind. She tells him that she'll explain everything but they first have to get off the street. Sharon tells Jason that they have a base of operations not far from here.
In the present and in the Catacombs, Nancy fires an energy ball at Shawn but it somehow is deflected before it hits him. This angers Nancy but the fact that Eugene is able to "kill" Chris, one of the Swim Team zombies and her boyfriend, angers her beyond anything. She collapses the entrance of the Catacombs and teleports away with Chris' body leaving the zombie to destroy the Group. They are able to destroy the zombie but not before it injures Misty further. Checking on Jason, they decide to split up. Eugene and Shawn will try to find another way out and Misty and Sharon will guard Jason in case Nancy returned.
In the "future", Sharon and Jason arrive at the Mill. Entering the mill, Sharon leads Jason down a staircase and triggers a secret door. Descending the staircase they enter the Catacombs from a different entrace. Once in the Catacombs, Jason is introduced to the rest of the Group. Eugene is sitting in the corner wearing a pair of sunglasses and holding a cane. Shawn looks the same, only older. He is wearing a long glove over the arm that had the bracelet on it before. Misty has white streaks in her hair and a look of power in her eyes.
Sharon and the others bring Jason up to date on what has happened. Shortly after Nancy froze him, Eugene ended up destroying the zombie Chris. Nancy had her revenge by sending them into a Hell Dimension. After years of surviving the Hell Dimension, the Group was eventually able to find their way home. But while six years had passed in the Hell Dimension, only six months had passed on Earth. But it was enough for whatever was lurking underneath Tarken's Mill to escape its prison. The Big Bad, Saragoss, turned most of the town into zombies and proceeded to take over the Eastern Seaboard. Vowing to destory Saragoss, the Group started a series of guerilla attacks on Saragoss' forces.
Using information that they gathered in the H.D., the group figured out a way to bring Jason's mind into the future and tell him what happened so he could prevent it.
Suddenly, Eugene doubled over in pain when he was hit with a painful vision. He sees Nancy casting a spell, raising an Old One as Saragoss looks on in excitement. They know that they have to stop this from happening and that they also have to get the information from Nancy on how to break her time stop spell.
They head to the Big Bad's lair, Nightengale Hall, and destroy his guards. Misty launches fireballs at the zombies on guard, clearing the way. Shawn is able to use one of his new creations, an axe with some sort of dead flesh repellant.
Entering the basement, they see that the ceremony is already in progress. Besides Nancy, Saragoss and their sacrifice, there are also eight zombies and six humans taking part in the ceremony. One of the humans is Rod, who seems to have agreed to help Saragoss so he wouldn't be killed.
Jason leaps to confront Saragoss and feigns an attack. Saragoss dodges and Jason's true plan is revealed. He goes for an attack on Saragoss but turns and throws his Sword at Nancy, decapitating her. He yells for Misty to use her Sorcery to grab ahold of Nancy's head and his sword.
Eugene attacks Rod, bringing him down. Eugene is killed by the rest of the humans. Shawn throws something on the support beam of the house which eats through the beam. As the Group starts to escape the house, Saragoss grabs ahold of Sharon and breaks her neck, killing her. Jason screams and starts heading back to them but Misty pulls him back with her telekinesis. They exit the building as it collaspes on Saragoss.
Misty is able to pull the spell from Nancy's mind and place it into Jason's head. She then returns him to his right body and time.
Nancy teleports back into the Catacombs, chanting a spell and holding a vial of liquid. She is about to throw it on the ground when Jason "defrosts" and runs his sword through her forearm, prevent her from dropping the vial. He is about to slash Nancy in two when she teleports away.
Jason tells the group about the other exit and updates them on what he learned in the future. They head out of the Catacombs, and return home to plan their next move.
