As I enter my 25th year as Mayor of Tarken's Mill, Maine, I'm happy to report that our small town is finally on the 'Net and accessible to the World.
Now all the former Tarken's Mill residents from around the World can keep up with what is going on in our town. They can read the latest issue of the Chronicle; they can see how the St. Lazarus Tigers are doing in the State championships or what's on Special down at the Diner, where you can still get the Best Pie in New England.
As we approach the 225th anniversary of the founding of our town, I ask that while we remember the past, that we look to the future. The youth of this town will change the World if we let them. We have to give them the tools to succeed.
