- I live in northeastern Kentucky with my wonderful husband,
Johnny, 3 dogs, and one cat.
- I made my first quilt in 1989, never intending to make more
than one, but I quickly got hooked on the possibilities of
playing with form and color in fabric and thread.
My university degree is in art education, with an emphasis in
drawing and painting, so it wasn't long before I started to
wonder what I could do with fabric to make art for the
walls, as well as quilts for the bed.
I love experimenting to see what I can create in fabric, and I
also love and make traditional block-based quilts, albeit
usually with my own unique twist.
