After creating a number of limited edition decks of playing cards, I started to think that it would be nice to expand my range. The Teddy Bear Pack Of Playing Cards, Teddy Happy Families and then the big one - THE HUGOBIAN TAROT!
Hugobia (My own word) means Land Of Bears and after taking almost a year to create this deck, I was hungry for more.
The Tarot symbolism was perfectly suited to my love of quirky humour and detail and now I create hand-made decks for collectors as well as selling the cards you see on this site.

A highly collectable Tarot deck. This limited edition (100) deck is a 22 card (Major Arcana) Tarot deck - with a
difference!
All the cards are on one (uncut) sheet and each one is a hand coloured
insect, bringing to life the Tarot symbolism through their name, habit or
colour.
I had originally intended to place the Tarot symbolism on the shells of various beetles and
bugs. I looked more closely at the subjects, it became clear that the whole insect kingdom was perfect for
Tarot. I ended up using their shape, name, character, habits and their
markings!
The cards measure: 30mm x 45mm and are printed onto good quality card stock
Each deck will be presented as an un-cut sheet, signed, numbered and HAND
COLOURED!
The finely detailed pictures, hand colouring and unusual subject matter make this a unique and collectable
deck.
