As a Video Editor, I worked on the Cannes 1999 compilation of 4757 commercials for the 46th International Advertising Festival. I was responsible for the digitalization of Beta SP and Digibeta transferred into Mpeg 2 format using Optibase software.

As a Media Encoder, my work involves the encoding of Global TV commercials from VHS & Umatic videotapes & CD-Rom on to an extensive computer library/database. This combines video-editing skills with general window NT 4.0 experience, and has also involved foreign translation work.

London Film Festival November 1997/98
As a volunteer for the duration of the Festival, I was working principally on the main office reception desk, and dealing with journalists and filmmakers.

in London - I was responsible for helping with various tasks including programming, marketing and sales. I was dealing with the reception and accommodation of Festival guests and sometimes for ticketing.

As a Clerk Officer in London, I advised about the procedures to obtain French visas, and edited these visas.

Institut Francais (Cine Lumiere) January-April 1997
As the Assistant to the Head of Film Programming in London, I liaised with British and French distributors and producers. I was also involved with the selection and programming of film released at the Institut, handled contacts with the press, and edited the Institut's film magazine.

I was the Assistant in the audiovisual production unit of the Cultural Department at the Museum, and I liaised between filmmakers and producers, and handled public relations.

B.P.I. June-September 1995 - Paris
The B.P.I. is the main library of the Pompidou Centre, Beaubourg. I was an Assistant librarian, and organized various events in the Audiovisual and Hypermedia fields.

AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIENCE
* In the spring of 1997, I made a documentary sponsored by the French Ministry of Youth and Sports (Defi Jeunes), "Les cartes du Destin" (22 min, 1997). The film was selected for the Portobello Film Festival in July 1997
* In December 1994 and January 1995, I was Assistant director for the documentary "Whistler, an American In Europe" directed by Edwige Kertes for the Musee d'Orsay.
* In 1995, I directed a video "Bien Faire, Laisser Dire"
* From August to September 1994, I received professional training on the film with the Sunshine society "Beyond the Clouds" by Michelangelo Antonioni and Wim Wenders.
* In 1993, I was Assistant in the film "Cher Mallarme" directed by Jean-Paul Fargier.

INTEREST AND ACTIVITIES
* Exhibitions in London (Covent Garden in Jubilee Hall and in Pure Gallery, Old Street with the Stuckists Oct-December 2000) and Paris (October 1999)
* My other interests include painting, horse-riding, dancing, myths and classical music.
