THE HERMIT ~ 9
In this section I have placed all the nines. Please scroll down to find the corresponding Force you are looking for.
YOUR LIFE PATH OR BIRTH FORCE NUMBER
Read the following paragraphs below to find out your Life's Path.
Basic meaning of the number nine:  The keys to the nature of a Life Path number 9 person are compassion, generosity, and a very humanitarian attitude. This is the lesson that must be learned in this life. Usually this number produces an individual that is very trustworthy and honorable, and one unlikely to harbor any sort of prejudice. Obviously, this is a rather tall order, but you are, in fact, a person that feels very deeply for individuals less fortunate than yourself, and if you are in a position to help, you certainly will. You tend to be quite sensitive, as you see the world with much feeling and compassion. The 9, being the highest of the single digit numbers, holds an elevated position and posses certain responsibilities. The purpose of life for those with a 9 Life Path is of a philosophical nature. Judges, spiritual leaders, healers and educators frequently have much 9 energy.

Often, the number 9 life path requires a very selfless attitude and the giving up of material possessions for the common good. Even the very average of those with life path 9 possess extremely compassionate tendencies. The desire to help others, especially the troubled or underprivileged, is strong. You are apt to frequently find yourself being used and let down by others, as your generosity is misused and abused.

WHO AM I?
If number 9 is your birth force then your corresponding Tarot card is the
Hermit. This is a card of people who have grown wise. Hermits have the ability to understand things. They are the loners of this world. You may like to retreat to your study at might or get off to that cabin in the woods, not just to rest, but to be alone with your thoughts, even to meditate or pray. Your job in life is to hold up a light for others to follow. To achieve your full potential, you must come back from hermitage eventually to tell others what you have seen, heard or learned.

HOW DO OTHERS SEE ME?
Corresponding card here is the
King of Wands. You are the rather studious sort, in the sense that you tend to study everything around you, almost to death, usually from a safe distance. You look out at the world with your powers of concentration turned on high beam. You survey all that passes in front of you. You assess, you observe, you sum up, and you take things apart and put them back together again. They say of you, "If you ask him, he'll be able to fix you up," or "Go ask her what she thinks." But the line at your door can get awfully long; and once in a while even a guru needs to get away from it all. Your life will be full of departures from the ordinary, followed by returns from the wilderness. One thing is for certain: You will never be at a loss for things to write home about. May the truth you seek, seek you out.

You tend to measure time in decades.

WHAT KIND OF FOOL AM I?
Corresponding card here is the Knight of Wands. You are a fool for the truth, and you are constantly hoping to discover it. This is one race you will have to run by yourself, with yourself, against yourself, for yourself, and with a little luck, you may even come out a winner in the end. People say of you, "What bandwagon are you on this time?" or "Where have you been keeping yourself?" Go off into the wilderness and think things through if you must, for nobody gets closer to the process.

WHO AM I DEEP DOWN INSIDE?
Corresponding card here is the Hanged Man. You are a driven person. As the Hermit on the outside and the Hanged Man on the inside, you are the possessor of an independent spirit. You are self-motivated, self-directed, and perhaps a bit self-centered as a result, for you are your own best friend and your most ruthless competitor. You are constantly pitting yourself against yourself, constantly striving to reach new heights, and constantly punishing yourself for even insignificant failures. A perfectionist by nature, you pursue your own truth with a vengeance, discarding what doesn't work and inventing what you think will. In addition to the senses everybody else has, you have an excellent sense of time, timing, and what makes things tick, which helps your sometimes radical ideas find their place in the scheme of things.
YOUR EXPRESSION IN LIFE
Read the following paragraphs to find out your expression in life.
Your talents center in humanistic interests and approaches. Like the Hermit standing on top of the mountain with his lantern, you like to help others as you were intended to be the "big brother or big sister" type shining your light down so they can see the path ahead. You operate best when you follow your feelings and sense of compassion, and allow yourself to be sensitive to the needs of others. You work well with people, and have the potential to inspire. This suggests that you could successfully teach or counsel. Creative ability, imagination and artistic talent of the highest order are present in this expression. Some of your talents may have been used at an earlier time in your life, and some may still be latent. Be aware of your capabilities, so that you can make use of them at appropriate times.

If you are able to achieve the potential of your natural expression in this life, you are capable of much human understanding and have a lot to give to others. Your personal ambitions are likely to be maintained in a very positive perspective, never losing sight of an interest in people, and a sympathetic, tolerant, broad-minded and compassionate point of view. You are quite idealistic, and disappointed at the lack of perfection in the world. You have a strong awareness of your own feeling as well as those of others. Friendships, affection, and love are extremely important.
YOUR SOUL URGE
Please refer to the following paragraphs to find your Soul Urge with the number nine.
With a 9 Soul Urge, you want to give to others, usually in a humanitarian or philanthropic manner. You are highly motivated to give friendship, affection and love. And you are generous in giving of your knowledge and experience. Your concern for others makes you a very sympathetic and generous person with a sensitive and compassionate nature.

Like the Hermit teaches you are able to view life in very broad and intuitive terms. You often express high ideals and an inspirational approach to life. If you are able to fully realize the potential of your motivation, you will be a very self-sacrificing person who is able to give freely without being concerned about any return or reward.
