Manta & Moray

Manta and Moray, "Monarchs of the Deep" together with their seal sidekick, Whiskers, appeared in a variety of underwater prosocial adventures. Manta, the last descendant of an underwater race was paired with Moray, a shipwreck survivor who had been rescued and taught the ways of the sea.

Though all Manta and Moray episodes are currently lost, there are a number of small fragments to be found in the Super 7 opening credits as well as in a few Jason of Star Command episodes from the original Tarzan and the Super 7 run. Though most of these are only a few seconds long, it is obvious that the segments featured heavy rotoing typical of late 70s Filmation.
