"When Kelly Webster risked her life to rescue a strange insect creature she wasendowed with the powers of all insects, powers enabling her to help others throughout the galaxy--as Web Woman. Guided the by the wisdom of Scarab, hermentor from a distant planet and assisted by her partner Spinner, Web Woman battles evil in all its many forms."

Web Woman featured the exploits of Kelly Webster, who when summoned by Scarab via the Web Call, would transform into Web Woman. Her father's barn concealed a hideaway not unlike the Bat-Cave. Here she would contact Scarab, who was based on a space station (Citadel 7) and appeared as a spherical hologram on a platform. The hideaway also contained the Web Trac, a spidery vehicle capable of flying through the air, space, and in one instance, to the earth's core. This vehicle may have been a testing ground for the animation in Flash Gordon, as the shots appear to be very similar to the Starfires in Jason of Star Command, and may have been rotoscoped over these.

Web Woman was armed with wrist bands that fired energy blasts, these materialized into sticky webbing which incapacitated her enemies, and a "Web Rope" concealed in a her belt. Further assistance was provided by Kelly's constant companion, Spinner, an furry little green alien.

Typical of Filmation animation from this period, Web Woman featured some superb backround art, in particular the numerous space shots.
