Natasha's Climbing Experience
Natasha's Climbing Page
I climb once a week in an indoor climbing centre at Calshot. I was introduced to climbing by my friend Mel who was the mountineering society president at Warwick University in 1995/1996.
The climbing wall at Warwick is one of the largest university climbing walls in the country, and was built initially by an instructor from Calshot. In January 1998, in an attempt to find a regular
climbing partner, I enroled on an intermediate climbers course, where I met Gavin. I have climbed with Gavin every week (work permitting!) since then. At the moment I climb around UK grade 4c / 5a
(HVS / E1). For a 5'2" girl this isn't bad!
