BELLYDANCE CLASSES

Learn the ancient and sacred dance of Bellydance - profound , irreverent and playful. This dance ritual was originally for women to prepare for pregnancy and birth. It kept them in beautiful tone and shape whilst touching the ancient, sacred Creative Mysteries and sisterhood of all women. This dance not only strengthens, tones and trims your hips, lower back, buttocks, pelvic floor, thighs and stomachs , it also enhances your body self esteem as you learn that all women are goddesses, no matter what age or shape they are. It's all about the moves you've got!

"It's the longest I've ever stayed with an exercise, even though it's exercise - it's not, it's fun and it's great" C

Locations of workshops and World Dance Groove and Haflah;-

In the heart of Exeter:-

The Mint School room for all workshops and classes.

World Dance Groove and Haflah in The Mint Methodist Church itself - masses
of space to whirl and twirl. The space will be a temple of dance for the
night! Ambient room upstairs in the Rowe hall - the temple of Chill.

The Mint is opposite The Walkabout pub on Fore Street and next to Kwik
print. You will see a big Methodist church set back from the road with car
park.   Go into the carpark and instead of going straight into the church
turn left in front of it and then right through the gate into the little
lane ( Mint Lane ). On your right you will see a building with a bright blue
door and a bell that says "school room". Press it and I will buzz you in,
you will have to pull the door in hard for it to open.Sometimes it doesn't
work, so just wait for me or one of the students to come down and open it.
Go up the stairs and it is the room on your left. We have mirrors, and a
sprung floor, which is very exciting for a dance space.
http://www.themint.org.uk/map.htm has links to two maps one with an arrow
and the other a red circle to mark the location of the Mint .There is a
carpark for the Methodist church that is unofficially available on Saturday,
if you need it or you can park on Fore street after 6pm.Otherwise suggest
Mary Arches carpark. It is £1 for the entire evening.

To book tickets please make checks payable to Tatanya McClurg, Burnhayes,
