Henna Body Art
Henna is an ancient all natural form of body decoration used in ceremonies throughout the Middle East. In India it is used to decorate the bride’s hands and feet. Whenever there is a celebration the henna comes out. The paste (as shown in the photos) temporarily dyes the skin a beautiful range of colors from mid auburn tans and russets to a deep mahogany. The designs last 1-3 weeks, sometimes more. It is believed to protect, bring good luck and fortune. No ceremony is complete without this beautiful ancient art form.

Designs can take anything from 5 minutes for large events, 15-20mins for more intimate events and up to several hours for stunning more complex large area coverage i.e. a bride’s hands (both sides) and feet. Several highly skilled Henna Artists are available to cater to the needs of your event.

Both traditional and western designs are used. We have something for everyone. Henna is most commonly applied to hands, feet, ankles, wrists, upper arms, bellies and lower backs. Be warned, Henna is always more popular than you think it is going to be!
