Spaghetti Sauce (my own recipe)
1 lb hamburger
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 TBSP Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
four 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 bell pepper, chopped finely
1/2 onion chopped finely
1 can tomato paste
1/2 tsp oregano
1 small can mushrooms

Fry the hamburger first, then combine all the ingredients and cook slowly in a saucepan, about 30 min. to 1 hr.  For
lasagna, do the same thing, only between the layers of noodles and sauce, layer this mixture:

1/2 C Parmesan cheese
1 small carton cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp salt and pepper

Then on the very top, put a layer of mozzerella cheese and bake covered for about 30 min and uncovered for about 10 at 350.

Autumn Punch (my own recipe)
4 bottles of apple cider
2 oranges
red hots (candy)
cloves
Cinnamon sticks
pumpkin pie spice

Bring all ingredients to a boil in large pot.  Only use 1 orange while it is cooking; it should be sliced.  Let this simmer for about 20 minutes to make sure all the flavors are combined.  Then strain in a fine strainer to get out the pulp, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.  You may also add Cinnamon Schapps-Hot Damn to taste.  Pour in punch bowl and garnish with orange slices with cloves stuck in the outside peel.  The slices look pretty floating on top.  Serve warm.  This is the punch I made for my wedding.

Holiday Dressing
1 box Jiffy cornbread (made by package directions)
10 slices white bread (laid out overnight to dry)
4 long pieces of celery
1 whole onion (yellow or white)
1/2 small green pepper
2 sticks butter
1 can mushrooms with juice
3 raw eggs
3 boiled eggs
4 cans chicken broth
salt, pepper
2 tsp sage

Let cornbread and white bread dry out overnight.  Crumble both into roasting pan.  Saute celery, onion, green pepper in butter until tender (about 30 min.)  Pour over bread.  Add mushrooms with juice and 3 raw eggs.  Chop up 3 boiled eggs and add them.  Add chicken broth, mix well.  Add sage and then add sant and pepper to taste.  Bake about 1 hr at 350.  Dressing is done when knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Tips:  I use a whole loaf of bread, and let it set out 2 nights before.  I use only 3 cans of broth, and one whole green pepper.
