TAURANGA CITY SOFTBALL CLUB (Est. 1999)
                                                     FORMERLY T.C. STEALERS

The organisation began in 1996 - 1997 with the Tauranga Boys College team including two adults playing in the senior mens competition.  The following season the introduction of several experienced players highlighted the need for an organisation to accommodate people who wanted to play softball. Over the next seasons, both experienced players and beginners were welcomed with open arms.  Leading to three seasons of good results.

In 1999 - 2000 the relationship with "The Fat Snapper Turf Bar" allowed T.C. Stealers to become the Tauranga City Softball Club.  Also at this time the family nature of the club started to show through.  With the wife's, girfriends and female supporters.  Showing an interest in playing softball rather than watching, T.C. Stealettes was born.

In 2000 - 2001 the club has grown to another level.  The Tauranga City Softball Club's Junior team will make their first appearance in January 2001.

Our goal is to be the most progressive and family oriented club in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Finally Tauranga City Softball Club wishes to thank Terry Shaw for his support.
