A couple of friends and I went out to a lake late one summer's night
to cool off and relax. After a while we noticed two red dots on the
horizon beyond the trees. Suddenly the first dot jumped high into
the air and performed amazing acrobatics before returning to it's
original place. We where all in the process of saying a united,
" WOW, Did you see that ?", when the second red dot
copied the first and we could say nothing !
We decided to be brave and try to call the ships to us using
Telepathy, if we could that is. So we sat in a circle holding hands
and all thinking the same thought, that of pulling the ships to us.
Some time passed and we heard a rythmic sound to our left. I thought
it must have been an old water pumping station nearby, until I
remembered it was no longer used. Then a huge black object
moved towards us along one arm of the lake. It was easy to see a
large, moving pitch-black shadow in the moonlit night This object
didn't reflect any light at all, as if it was absorning it all. I looked
away from it and could clearly see the trees and shoreline
in the moonlight. Just not this object !
Right about then two bright searchlights came from the shadow,
so I immediately told the ladies present that it must be a helicopter.
It was a feasible idea to me as the searchlights criss-crossed the water, except, this shadow with the bright searchlights wasn't making
any noise as it moved closer. The lights turned off, the craft turned
left, away from us and began to accelerate across the lake, it turned
from black to a series of bright colours in less than a second as
it turned itself into a red dot on the horizon !
sigh and busily started checking with each other to make sure none
of us were crazy and saw something different. We talked excitedly for many hours before heading to our homes in the early morning hours.
The next day we told some people about it, they laughed at us,
as seriously as possible. So we all learned to stop talking about
it with anyone but those who where there.
I know we all freaked on how close this craft had come to us.
It was less than one hundred metres away and seemingly
looking for the source of our Telepathic broadcast !
