High school students can choose to take courses in high school that may apply  toward academic or technical degrees.
The Taylor Career Center offers many courses that have articulated  agreements with local technical colleges. Students who successfully complete a  two year course of study (with an 80 or above) may receive college credit for  courses taken while in high school if they continue with that course of  study.
The Statewide Articulation Program is being implemented as of the 1999-2000  school year. Students who demonstrate competence in these courses are eligible  to receive credit by articulation for courses that are part of an associate of  applied science (AAS) degree plan offered by public two-year colleges.
The Articulation Program FAQs
What is the Articulation Program?
The Articulation Program is an advanced program for students interested in  preparing for college and a technical career that requires post secondary  education.
What are the advantages for the student who chooses to take courses that are  articulated?
These courses can be used to satisfy high school requirements.
