This site provides a glimpse of what Taylor Ridge Farm is all about. Boarding and Training for all levels is available, plus we offer commercial hauling and certified equine appraisals. 

Boarding / Training  Taylor Ridge Farm is a complete boarding facility offering something for everyone with a diversified clientele. For Hunter/ Jumper enthusiasts we have resident trainer, Dennis Murphy, Jr., the son of Olympic Gold Medallist, Dennis Murphy, Sr. With his father's help, Dennis started riding as soon as he was old enough to sit on a horse.  He has traveled and ridden with the top riders in the country and is still competing in Grand Prix s on a national level. A kind teacher, Dennis enjoys working with students on the local level and the A circuit level equally.  Dennis is 35 and married with one daughter. Well educated, Dennis earned his undergraduate degree in history & political science and also has a law degree. Taylor Ridge is proud to have this well rounded gentleman on staff.
Some of our boarders enjoy pleasure riding and leisurely trail rides. There are an abundance of trails to ride and no shortage of fellow pleasure horse enthusiasts. Our Hunter/Jumper  riders compete on the A Circuit as well on the State level. Some of our other boarders enjoy participating in horse shows, 3-Day Eventing, Pony Club and the County 4-H Club. The 4-Hers can compete in statewide competitions as well as in Southern Regional competitions that includes riders from all 13 Southern states.
	Pleasure riding, Racking Horses, Pony Club and A-Circuit Jumpers: Taylor Ridge Farm is proud of it's family friendly atmosphere. We all work as a team to help each other achieve our goals.

Taylor Ridge Farm is located near one of Northport's beautiful county parks, which offers many trails for our boarders to enjoy pleasure riding with their horse.

 Horse Hauling 

From our virtually new equipment to our staff of dedicated horsemen and women, the utmost care is taken for the comfort of your horse while being transported. Our drivers stop every 150 miles to check the animals and offer them water. They are given rest as needed during the trip (every 4 to 6 hours, as practical). 

The drivers are equipped with cellular phone for emergencies and check in with our office through out the day. You're always welcome to call and check up on your horse during the trip. And you know we'll deliver him just as happy as he was when he started the trip.
