| Ann joined the service in April of 1976. She went through Basic training at N.R.T.C. in Orlando, FL. While in the Navy, Ann went through training at the Terrorist Security School at NAS in Lake Hurst, NJ. She also served overseas during Desert Storm. After returning to the states, she was stationed at NAS in Jacksonville, Fl. She remained there until retiring in Dec. 1995 as an E6-Aviation Eletrician-First Class |

| The only woman to go through Armed Forces Police School and to work with the Armed Forces Police. Ann was the first woman to receive the Best Equipment Award. She was also the first woman in the Navy to complete the Air Force Leadership School. |
