Sadly after a fantastic and active life of well over  100 dog years, Bjorn died at home in my arms on the afternoon of 16 January. Luckily till the very last day his quality of life would be the envy of most humans! Bjorn died of a tumour that had entered his lungs that meant his breath became short and shorter. On the day of his death he still managed to Swim in the ocean and then in his beloved lake here in Tullah. He is now buried in the garden looking over the lake.

Pronounced "Byearn" - so appropriately  is Norwegian foor BEAR. This wonderful semi amphibious Black Labrador Dog has been part of my life through thick and thin for 14 years since a tiny pup. He is the penultimate BEAR....... cute, cuddly always affectionate, extremely strong, fit, intelligent, loyal, easy-going , gentle protective. doesn't snore to loudly , but cant cook for nuts! Who said that I was anything near perfect though either! Sorry BJORN has no email address he hasn't mastered Windows.... Yet! But he is a smart Boy so stay tuned!!!
