Party at DTool's
Friday ride with Dtool, RickZ, Russell Bynum, Laney, R.D. Frantz, Phillyflash and BrianT.  We went to Sunrise Summit and Palomar Mountain.  Over 200 miles of twisties led by RickZ at what could be called a brisk pace.  It's not often you get to watch Dick get excited about a stretch of road and take off like a kid in a candy store.
Saturday ride led by Jim Moore.  Riders included Friday's cast plus 90%Angel, Sagerider and Daryll.  We went through Julian and Montezuma's grade.  The last hour plus of the ride was in strong gusty winds and rain, but since when would that ever stop us.  The pic on the right is a dam full ToolShed with bikes.
The cast of characters at the BBQ party.
Luky lives in the area, but was not able to ride with us Fri or Sat.  He came out for the BBQ and led the way on the Sun ride.
Fernando Belair rode down from L.A. for the BBQ and returned home that night.  He also donated some of his reflective kits to the prize raffle.
Jim Moore, Saturday tour guide, his wife (I apologize for not remembering her name) and Phillyflash who rode down from Arizona.
Russell Bynum and his wife Lisa.  Russell rode down with me and Laney on Friday for that day's tour.  He went home Friday night and rode down again on Saturday for the rest of the festivities, he on his RT, her on the K75.  What an animal.  He didn't even let that cold slowdown his pace.  Bring on the drugs.
Daryll from Redondo Beach.  He came out for Saturday's ride and BBQ before going home to catch a flight.

R.D. Frantz chatting it up with Fernando.  It looks serious, must be debating which color is fastest.
Laney on the left, who rode Friday and Saturday, spending most of her time trying to give R.D. Frantz a hard time.
Sagerider using Dtool's computer.  Who else would go to a BMWRT party and breakaway from the party to log onto BMWRT.com
Dtool's Boxer dog Buckley we've all heard so much about.  Make sure to bring your rain coat when you pet him.  Definately everyones best friend.
Dtool on the right talking with his friend (another name I forgot sorry) who is a photographer and showed us a presentation of wildlife pics.  The left photo is Kris, Dtool's wife, working hard as she did all weekend to make us all feel welcome.  Now I know why he calls her "Sweet thing."
