| Gabriel was born in Da Bronx, New York, on January 22, 1972 and grew up in Westchester County, New York. He is the son of actor Stephen Macht, who has thirty years of credits under his belt, and moved to California when he was seven so his father could further his acting career. Gabriel tried his hand at acting at a young age but decided to finish school before choosing his career path. He attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama where he earned a degree. His credits include theatre, television and movies (see the Caught On Tape section for more info). He enjoys traveling, snowboarding and river rafting and is also an avid Yankees fan (atta boy!). He currently lives in Los Angeles with wife, model/actress Jacinda Barrett, of MTV's Real World-London fame, whom he married in December 2004, and their two dogs, Harsky and Stutch. Did you know...
