On November 3rd we started our European adventure.  We had a beautifully planned itinerary ;) , a thorough packing list, and most importantly Sarah & Breanna agreed to watch all of the pets and our house while we were gone.  However, an hour before leaving for the airport, we discovered one of the waterbed tubes decided to spring a leak. So much for a stress free departure~

The direct flight to France was oversold, so we flew from Minneapolis to London.  We arrived at Gatwick, sat in the airport for a few hours, and boarded a flight to Paris.  When we arrived in Paris, we didn't have a map to Hotel Burgundy, so we took a mini tour of the neighborhood.  Eventually, we found our hotel, unpacked, and went to find french onion soup & a chicken sandwich before going to the late opening of the Louvre. We were excited to see 4 Panini paintings~

After we left the Louvre, we took a few night pictures.  The first nightshot is I.M. Pei's glass triangle, and the second is a dark photo ofTia in front of the mini Arc de Triomphe.
