Most of the poetry located here
was written while I was stationed with the U.S. Army in Seoul, South Korea.
It was a most harrowing experience, and is only slightly responsible for
drawing out the true nature of my ex-wife, thus leading to my divorce.
Every place has it's own beauty, and S. Korea's was hard to find.
These experiences, along with two very good friends, led to this outpouring
of my pain and hope onto paper.
I always ask
that anyone who reads my poetry, start with the one below. It began
as part of an email message to a friend in Buffalo, New York and turned
into the short poem below.
I ask you to see all of the sides of
me and my poetry.
But, you can't enjoy the one,
-Anthony Crowe
I want you to see that I am not all tears of sadness and pain.
Let me lead you to see the hope,
the faith
the lies within me and draws my hand to end with a chance.
I know I wasn't meant for eternal sadness
I know I wasn't meant for endless pain.
without living through the other.
