Ping Plotter is a fast, small, visual Traceroute utility.  It uses multiple threads to trace all hops at once for substantial performance improvements over standard Traceroute queries.  It also creates visual graphs of perfomance to pinpoint
problems and see ranges of responses and trends. Ping Plotter is especially good for ISP troubleshooting and game

Octopus (Fast Download Manager)

Atomic Time  (FREE 42k,Win95/98)
Small, fast, Win32 internet time synchronizing program and, of course, all the source code is here for free. It synchronizes your computer's built in clock with one or more free time servers on the internet using port 37, and has a nice tray icon interface.
INSTALL: The only file you need is AtomicTime.exe. Put it anywhere on your hard drive. You will need to create a shortcut for the .exe file for the desktop or start menu.

TClockEx (FREE 293k,Win95/98/NT)
An enhancement for the taskbar clock with a calender too. Finally Windows has a useful clock! INSTALL: unzip to any folder then double click the EXE. After making the initial settings ( has help built in) create a shortcut to the START menu PROGRAMS STARTUP folder. Uninstall is by deleteing the files.

Kaufman Mail Warrior (FREE 717k,Win95/98)
Mail Warrior is a simple, small (floppy-size) and fast mail client rich with features like a user-friendly interface, mail PREVIEW before downloading, incoming and outgoing filters, link viewing, customizable toolbars and multiple accounts.Add a spell checker (511k). Everything will fit on a floppy with room to spare. INSTALL: Make a folder "MailWarrior", download the file into that folder, double click the EXE file, create a shortcut to desktop or START menu.

Calypso Email client (NOW FREE)

Power Procs ((FREE Win95/98)
An excellent little program to tell you what programs are running in the background, some may be with out your knowledge such as a trojen or virus. Power Procs is freeware program that shows windows list (visible and hidden) and running process.

Dunce (FREE Win95/98)
An excellent free program to retain dial up networking setting with out running a network client. It only stores settings for one Dial-Up Networking profile and has a limit of 4 programs to startup when you get connected.

Closing Time (FREE Win95/98)
Closing Time is a little program you can use to close open window/s (forground programs that are currently running, that have open windows on top of the desktop). It can close all open My Computer windows, all open windows or specific window/s. You can set a timer for Closing Time to wait before it close the window/s. Closing Time use CloseTm.ini as its configuration file, it should be in Windows directory, It can be editted using Windows Notepad (There is a shortcut to it in Closing Time Start menu folder).
