the library helps students learn how to use and evaluate sources both through

has an Early At-Risk Identification and

Division
faculty receive training in how to identify if their

RDG/AS: Alternative and
Supplemental
The
center has two primary functions:
1. provide supplemental faculty and student support
for the division’s reading and academic success courses
2. create and pilot alternative instruction such as open entry/open exit
instruction to accommodate students who have difficulty in a structured
semester-long classroom or to enable students who can acquire the knowledge,
skills, abilities and attitudes taught in the division’s courses in less time
than a whole semester or, on the other hand, require more time than a standard

RDG/AS Tutoring Program
The
RDG/AS Tutoring Program offers free-tutoring to our students. Students are
entitled to two (2) frees hours of tutoring per week per student (as
available).
Tutor Training
All
tutors receive training on the advising mission, ethical practices,
advisor/advisee responsibilities, confidentiality, and advising pedagogies. Contact: Candace Albers
