Veridian III. The Nexus rips through the silhouetted planet.
A bit iffy looking, but it's not finished. I know I've got the planet right, but I'm not sure how to do the Nexus properly.
Borg Attack. A work in progress of an attack by a Borg Tactical Cube as it flies through a nebula. I'm trying out ways of creating a realistic looking tractor beam. Not very easy. :(
This is of a ship called the Fiji Class, based on a drawing a I did a few years back. It's a cargo carrier built using the primary hull of a Steamrunner Class ship. The cargo modules are the sections between the warp nacelles. It's designed so more sections could be added, or some could be taken away depending on the amount of cargo. The ship is leaving Starbase 217, off to deliver supplies.
This pic is done in a more cartoony way than the earlier ones. I normally like doing fairly realistic images, but felt like doing something a bit different. Note the trail from the engines.
Now I like this. It's a depiction of the Nihydron(they were in Voyager once) putting up a last stand against the Borg, in orbit of their planet. It's not completely finished yet, but I think it looks pretty good, if a little bit "busy".

Eek. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time... Here I tried to show Chang's Bird of Prey exploding over Khitomer, like at the end of ST:TUC, only from a different angle. It's pants all round, but I'm glad I had a go.
This is a simple test at making a ship look like it's coming out of warp. It actually makes quite a nice desktop background. The cutting around the edge of the Delta Flyer is a bit dodgy since I only wanted to try out the idea quickly. |
