General Discussion The first thing all men applying to be a tea server must realize is that they are not a rare and highly demanded commodity.   There is always a high number of interested men wanting to attend and serve at a tea party.  Men with a good attitude, friendly and polite that accept the conditions of the party unquestioningly will always be selected over other men, regardless of how those other men view their own attributes and desirability.   Because of the high number of interested potential servers, the hostesses and women organizing these events can be very selective as to whom they choose, and who does not make the list.  If you do not make the list and rant and complain, that in and of itself explains why you were not chosen. The level of service required, and, the level of interaction between our servers and Ladies attending the event, will vary depending upon the rules set by the hostess and her committee.   All rules are made by the women of the Society hosting the event, and no servers are allowed to weigh in on these rules with their own concerns or wants.  If you are interested in being selected, placing demands on your service will usually mean you will not be selected.  As an interested male, you either accept the them, rules and requirements unconditionally, or you do not apply, there are no other alternatives. Tea servers are selected on the following criteria and conditions: They demonstrate a polite, friendly, cooperative and accommodating nature consistent with the deportment of professional waiters and butlers.  The "customer is always right" attitude marks a key characteristic found in such professionals. They discharge their duties efficiently and are not lazy. They respond to all requests from Ladies timely and quickly.  They never ignore a Lady's request.  If they cannot fulfill a request, they must explain why upon the request. They keep themselves in good physical condition. They are well groomed and practice good hygiene (you must first read the Attire & Appearance link). They are not drunkards or drug abusers. They clearly demonstrate they understand what their role will be as a server, and do not harbor agendas contrary to the agenda set by the Ladies organizing the events. They are prompt and never late.  If any servers arrive late to any scheduled event, they will be turned away. If required, their services are provided quietly only speaking in connection with the services they provide. They agree and accept that they will be nude at all times when providing service, and that there will never be any reciprocal viewing pleasure.  Clothed Female/Naked Male ("CFNM") is the standard attire at all times and they must be accepting standard. They do not set conditions or requirements on their servitude.  In the event the hostess/Ladies wish to have a more interactive CFNM party where the men perform and do acts to please the women, they understand and agree that the Ladies will always retain control of the event, make the rules, and the men coming must abide by them unquestioningly.  They understand and agree there will be no sexual contact, nor are they to ever make any advances or try to pick up Ladies at the event. They understand that upon fulfillment of their services, they may be requested to leave, and will do so dutifully. They do not argue with anyone in attendance, regardless of the situation.   Some Tea Societies require training seminars for potential tea boy servers.  These training courses are conducted by the various Ladies of the respective Society to assure their servers understand protocol and proper behavior.  As with the Tea Parties themselves, the male trainees must attend the courses naked.   The above criteria and conditions are consistent with all Society events.  The only variance a server may expect is in the event a "CFNM" party is hosted.  A CFNM party has many of the same attributes as Tea Parties, including respect, politeness and a degree of servitude by the men, and, no women are ever nude.  However, it is a more highly interactive social event between the men in the women, and, the men may be required to perform or participate in certain constests, games and the likes, all at the discretion of the Ladies hosting the event.  For more discussion on CFNM parties, visit the Society Forum and read the discussions and links.  One such link is provided to an on-line interview for an E-zine magazine conducted by Ms. Elise Sutton with Ms. Diane, which describes the history of CFNM parties.  The following link discusses the rules and ambience surrounding some of these parties: An Interview with Ms. Diane - CFNM Party Review
