Newspaper Spread
Introduction:
      You you will work together with a partner to create the front page of a newspaper illustrating The Great Depression.

Your Task:
      To create the front page of a newspaper about the impact of The Great Depression on Canada.

Assignment Requirements:
Your newspaper spread must include each of the following:
1)
A title for your newspaper
2)
Date and City
3)
Cost of newspaper
4)
Main feature article: The impact of The Great Depression on Canada: make reference to whether The Great Depression made Canada stronger or weaker and explain in detail using historical examples.
5) Minimum of
one (1) photograph that captures the essence of The Great Depression (should reflect what main article is about).
6) Minimum of
two (2) secondary articles and two (2) pictures (one for each article) regarding The Great Depression - your choice of topic.

a) Comparison of R.B. Bennett's "New Deal" vs. Roosevelt's "New
              Deal"
          b) Trade Protectionsim and Tariffs
          c) Shrinking Demand for Canadian Exports
          d) Impact of Unemployment
          e) Life in Relief Camps
          f) New political parties: Five new parties formed
          g) The Regina Riot
          h) Escaping Reality: movies, radio, Dionne quintuplets, Sports &
              Recreation, etc.
