1) You must provide a coloured drawing of your plane (you are allowed to trace a picture you find in your research)

2) You must include a one-paragraph description of what your plane is, what it is to be used for, what type of weapons it is equipped with (if any), etc.

3) Include a card stating the details and dimensions of your plane:

*Ceiling (how high in the air can it fly?)
*Armament (what type of weapons are on board?)

Resources:

Use the PowerPoint presentation slides and your textbook as a reference to technology during WWI.
You are about to begin to investigate airplanes of WWI in more detail.  A good place to start is to visit
The Great War Flying Museum this website has a variety of planes from different Allied countries.  Keep in mind that you are designing a British warplane!!!
To assist you with the colour selection of your plane visit the
Allied and German Aeroplanes website (remember not to fly with enemy colours and symbols on your plane or your plane will be shot down by your own soldiers!!!!)

Mission Complete:

Your task is complete when you have submitted your coloured plane drawing, one-paragraph description, your dimensions card, and Technician Checklist to Chief Technician Devereux for inspection and approval.
