Charging your Tarot Card Deck TAROT TIPS FROM TEACHINGS OF THE LIGHT
To make a deck respond to your readings these are my three rules
1. Never, and I mean NEVER let another person use your cards to do a reading. The deck will absorb their energy.
2. If you have bought a new deck you must keep the cards with you constantly for 24 hours. Keep them in your purse at work. At home have them in your pocket. Sleep with them in the pillow case at night. This will help the cards to absorb your energy
3. To keep your cards charged keep them with you as much as possible. The more they are surrounded by your energy circle and aura the better they will work
If your cards are new and you want to charge them or if you want to cleanse them because they have picked up some negative I recommend these tips.
First of all I will keep the cards with me for three days constantly. Sleep with them too. (I keep my cards with me until the full moon week)
Then.... during a full moon week use the light of the Moon to cleanse or charge the cards. In my computer room I have a window that when the moon is full it will shine in thru the open curtains. I will put the cards on a table with the light turned off and the cards are being shined upon thru the window from the Moonlight.
I light three insence sticks and shut the door.
Then I put salt on the top frame of the doorway on the outside of the room. This not only cleanses the cards but the room as well.
No candles should be left unattended.
This should be done at midnight and the room is not to be entered for three hours.
If I am on an all-nighter... Which when cleansing I always am I will enter the room at 3:33 am. Or you can wait until the morning.
If you wait until the morning enter the room at a time that is on the hour.. 8 am 9 am etc... the minute hand should be on the twelve. If there is a clock in the cleansing room go by that time.
Planning ahead will help you to decide what time you will enter the room..... use your lucky number to decide what time perhaps... Lucky number 9?? enter at 9 am. But I suggest using the time of 333am like I do. Its a powerful number.
If all else fails to cleanse your deck of bad energies do like I did...destroy the deck and buy a new one.
