The Smart Parts tapeworm is quite simply an upgrade that is very important to the impulse. The impulse as many people know has one solenoid, and with having that the bolt has a tendency to stick foward and make a hissing sound. What this does is it splits the valve giving constant air flow to the solenoid, which in basic terms will maximize efficiency and virtually stop the bolt from sticking foward and it gets rid of the hissing. As for looks this comes in multiple colors as you can see from above.
The eclipse paintball company has recently begun to introduce upgrades for the impulse. One of their nicest products in my opinion is the eclipse optimizer. This is much like the smart parts tapeworm except it doesn't have a restricting hose line that goes into the gun. This is very efficient and splits the valve and stops the bolt from sticking foward and hissing. It only comes in the chrome and the black, but i have to say, i have this on my impulse and it works great. This is definately worth buying over the tapeworm.
The eclipse fangz button guard. Looks cool and as many people who own impulses know the stock rubber one on the side never stays in towards the end as to where this is chrome and not rubber so it stays in and doesn't become loose.
The eclipse low pressure chamber. Only comes in chrome and replaces the existing lp chanber on the impulse below the barrel.
The eclipse titanium hammer and shaft is light and very strong. Will take a hell of a beating and since it is made out of titanium this will last a ver long time without having to worry about wear and tear.
This bolt here is also made by bill at imperial paintball and i have this bolt on my impulse. This is the undertow bolt with undertow technology. This is derlin and uses no oil and it lowers the pressure of the gun.
This impulse bolt here is derlin. Made by my favorite customizer at imperial paintball bill (aka the werm) makes this derlin bolt. Since the bolt is made out of derlin it uses no oil and lowers the pressure.
What is unertow technology you might be asking youself. What it does is instead of having little holes throughout the head of most bolts... there is a little triangular looking hole on the bottom of the head. Instead of having multiple points of origin where more air is put on the bolt there is the same amount on the bottom of the ball giving the ball the same consistent spin each and every time giving the ball a more precise shot in tighter shots.
