DEFENCE LET DOWN 25 April

The inexperienced defence of Forza let the team down when they conceded soft goals for Bishan Eleven to end Forza winning streak.The winning goal by Bishan Eleven were no doubt off side but the other two were clearly soft as the defence made basic mistakes as communication were the main culprit for the day.

14 players were present for the day.A good number for everyone to have a run.After 6 consecutive win,Forza finally were brought down by the experience Bishan Eleven. The disorganised defence and wingless winger of our own were the main culprit for our defeat. Fami did not organised the defence as many through ball penetrate the last line. Bishan Eleven opened the scoring after Fami failed to clear a harmless ball pump in the middle of backline for the striker to place it home.Forza tried to attack through the wing, but the off-form wingers of our own could not provide services.Forza equaliser came in the 28th min through Jerry when his first timer from Alimran cross hit the net.Both team traded blows but could not score.

Second half started with Jufri replacing Een. Lots off the ball running were made by him.Forza took the lead from the corner when Bishan failed to clear for Alimran to finish it.From then onwards,Bishan attacks were mainly through long ball.They got the equaliser in the 67th min when Yazid were caught off guard for the winger to shoot from the distant to score.Their winner came in the 80th min.The ref failed to spot the offside trap set by Forza. The winger capitalised it by scoring the final goal of the match. Forza tried to find the equaliser with waves of attacks after one of the Bishan player were given the red card but Bishan defence stood still to end Forza winning streak. Final score Forza 2 - 3 Bishan Eleven.
