Discovery Coast Queensland Australia, home to the birth place of Queensland Town Of 1770, Agnes Water the twin towns hold the re-enactment to Lt James Cooks Historic Landing on the 24th May 1770, with the annual 1770 Festival held over 3 Day's in May on the weekend around the 24th May on the Town Of 1770 Foreshore Discovery Coast 1770 Festival 19th 20th 21st May 2006 Discovery Coast 1770 Festival 2006 will start Friday 19th with Art show followed by Comedy Night at Agnes Water Ocean Beach Resort & Kahuna's Bar, Saturday 20th on the 1770 Foreshore, Street Float Parade, Re-enactment of Lt James Cook & Crew, with a full venue of Band's Rides Stall's Food plus more untill Midnight, Sunday 21st is Recovery Party on the grounds of Agnes Water Tavern with bands, rides & Wine Tasting & More. 1770 Festival Family Fun
