"The martial arts;
it is a way of living designed to obtain a sense of peace with
oneself, as well as adapting to ones surroundings. A martial artist; one
who
practices the martial arts to better themselves in various aspects, mentally,
emotionally, as well as physically. In today's hectic and competitive
world, the
mental and emotional characteristic of a martial artist plays a vital
role. The
ability to respond to any situation in a very rational and peaceful manner
gives
a martial artist the edge to succeed in today's society. The martial arts;
truly a
benefit to oneself."

The individual, who is motivated, dedicated, and willing to take on the
most
difficult challenges, this is a candidate. The individual who will persevere
through
the toughest of storms, go the distance without ever stopping, never looking
back, and never giving up, this is a candidate. That individual exemplifies
the
ongoing commitment to excellence we strive for at Team PKD.
Are you ready for Team PKD?
As you may see, our requirements are much the same as Team
Chat, as
we hope to someday reach that level of excellence.
Please, feel free to browse our site, we have many sections, including
our
sponsors, regulations for Team PKD, calendar of events for 2000, and Members
bios. One section we would really like to see grow, is our "Team
Links" section.
We feel that right now, the main thing that the tournament scene needs
is more teams, all getting along, working together to get the sport raised
to the level where sponsors are willing and happy to support new and old
teams
alike, to where someday, we can all be getting treated and paid just like
the other professional teams out there. So we are taking the first step
to
uniting all teams in the pursuit of a common goal, getting the respect
and pay
we deserve. Join us, SEND US A LINK!
We will soon be putting up a section where you
can download sponsorship
package templates
that you can customize to fit your team and it's needs.
