What is Teams of Our Lady?
Teams of Our Lady is a movement to enrich marriage spirituality.
It is an Endeavour
· In which married couples experience the full richness of the Sacrament of Matrimony.
· And together seek to respond to the call of the Lord to “Come Follow Me.”(Matthew 19:21)

It is a Way
· To grow in love a little more each day.
· Aided by the mutual help and support of a Team made up of five to seven couples and a priest who gather monthly to hsare a meal and prayer…and
· Relying on brotherly love along with the experience of a Movement which offers orientations for a Christian married life through the
-daily reading of the Word of God
-personal prayer
-conjugal prayer
-couple communication
· To thus better follow the One who assured us that: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”(John 14:6)

It is a Christian Community
· Of married couples and a priest meeting in Christ’s Name and in communion with the Church,
· Who witness God’s marvellous plan of love to the world around them
· And seek to live as the first Christian of whom it was said: “See how they love one another.”

As a couple, you may want to ask each other:
“What place shall we give to Jesus Christ in our lives?”
Why as a couple?
· Because God has entrusted you to each other through the Sacramnet of Matrimony.
· Because when your response is made in unison, it deeply affects
-the quality of your love
-your children, and
-all whom you meet

Why with other couples?
· Because alone we are weak, unprepared, and beset by the strife of daily life.
In a world where fidelity is no longer esteemed as an essential value of love, your response to God’s call, as couples, can bring joy and hope into a world in need of both.

How can Teams of Our Lady help?
Teams of Our Lady can help married couples and priests live the Gospel and be witnesses to the breadth of God’s love. It offers a tried and proven means for spiritual growth.

Teams is a Lay Movement
It began in France over forty years ago and now embraces couples of all ages and many countries. Though not a Movement for action, Team couples are active in family, Church, and civic life.

Teams is a Movement in the Church
Officially recognised by the Holy See and under the patronage of Our Lady, Teams happily follows the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Second Vatican Council, and the insights of its founder, Fr. Henri Caffarel.

Teams of Our Lady enriches marriages through spiritual growth and mutual help.
