| We are the VSO World Youth team 39/6! We are 18 dedicated volunteers on a cultural exchange and are involved with vital community work in Hounslow, UK and Akure Nigeria.Through this program we are embarking on a mission to become global citizens through promoting community cohesion and by providing important assistance to Life Vanguards, a Nigerian charity promoting HIV/AIDS awareness. We've been brought together through a common vision that volunteering can make a positive difference to ourselves and to the enviroment around us. Our hearts and minds are dedicated to making a positive impact on our local communities. With the support of Voluntary Services Overseas and the British Airport Authorities 21st Century Communities Trust we can turn our ideas and visions into reality and channel our skill towards worthwhile community based projects and change lives for the better.
