All about religions
Hi, my name is Krupa and I am doing a project on religions. I chose 4 religions that I thought were interesting to me and I did further research about these religions. The religions are, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam and Judaism. I will be answering 4 questions.

1. Do these religions believe in god?

Yes, all these religions do believe in god.
Hinduism: Hindus have 3 main gods. Brahman, Vishnu and Shiva. They are worshipped for three different reasons. Brahman is as the creator of the universe. Vishnu is worshipped as the protector of the universe and Shiva is worshipped as the destroyer of the universe, but some people don't believe this. Some people believe that Brahman is the creator, protector and the destroyer of the universe. Some people believe that Vishnu is the creator, destroyer and the protector of the universe. Some people believe that Shiva is the creator, protector and the destroyer of the universe.

Islam: For Islam, Allah is their one and only god. It is believed that he is immortal. He has no wife or children. He is the creator, protector and the destroyer of the universe.

Christianity: For Christians, there is no name for god. It is believed that Jesus Christ is not their main god. Their main god is the father of Jesus Christ. They just call their god "GOD". It is believed that god exists in 3 persons. The father, the son and the Holy Spirit.

Judaism: For Jews, the name of their god is Moses. Jews believe that god is eternal. He is the god of our ancestors and he has seen our affliction.

2. Do these religions have special prayers?

Hinduism: Hindus pray in the morning. They make fresh sweets called offerings. Hindus believe that shoes must be taken off before entering the temple. Even in houses, Hindus don't wear shoes they think that it is a symbol of impurity. In Hindu temples, prayers are held 3 times a day. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening.

Christianity: Christians pray early in the morning and before going to bed. Christians also got the Church every Sunday.

Islam: Muslims pray 5 times a day. They wash feet, hands, ears, and mouth separately. They wash each part of their body 3 times before entering the mosque.

Jews: Jews have different prayers for different gods. For example, if they want someone to heal, they pray to the god that heals everything.

3.  Do these religions have a holy book?

Hinduism:  The holy book for Hindus is the Bhagwat Gita. Bhagwat Gita was told during the first and only greatest epic ever, The Mahabharata. It was told by Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna was the 10th form of Vishnu, and that's why The Gita is the holy book for Hindus.

Christianity: The holy book for Christians is the Bible. The Bible contains the life of Jesus Christ.

Islam: The holy book for Islam is the holy Qumran.

Judaism: The holy book for Jews is the Torah.

4. Do these religions have special marital beliefs?

Hinduism: For Hindus, the marital belief only applies to women. Hindu women wear a mangalsutra ( a black long necklace with golden beads, given by husband, strung around neck.) Hindu women may also put red powder in their called vermilion and that is also a sin of marital status.

Christianity: Christians wear a wedding ring at all times.

Islam: Muslims have to sign on sacred Quar'anic writing
