- Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out with a gift in his hand. Vince got in the ring, and he has a black eye. Vince said that he has something more important to talk about than Triple H's return. Tonight, he wants to talk about the Ric Flair-Vince McMahon match at the Royal Rumble. Vince said that he's going to show some footage of Ric Flair from the 80s and 90s with guys like Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Vader and others. They took a look at Ric Flair in action, and Kid Rock's song "Cocky" played as they showed the video package. Vince said that's impressive, alright. Flair had one of the greatest wrestling careers of all time, but on November 19th, he thought he would start a new career, and Vince showed the footage of Ric Flair's return in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ric announced that he was Vince's 50-50 partner, having bought the stock of his rotten kids, Shane and Stephanie McMahon. A few weeks later, he made another announcement when he challenged Vince to a match at the Royal Rumble. Vince didn't appreciate being busted in the mouth, and he didn't appreciate what Flair did last Thursday night on Smackdown!. In an unprovoked attack from behind, Flair attacked Mr. McMahon. Flair nailed Vince right in the eye. He took five stitches on the inside and three on the outside. Therefore at the Rumble, Flair has the old expression, in order to be the man, you have to beat the man. You know what? Vince is already the man, and right now, he's going to prove it. Vince opened the box that he had, and he got a Ric Flair wig out of it, and a Ric Flair robe. As Vince put the robe on, the fans chanted "Asshole, Asshole!" Vince said it's a little tight, but it goes something like this. Vince strutted around the ring as if he were Ric Flair. All of a sudden, Ric Flair's music hit, and he made his way out to the ring! Ric Flair slowly walked to the ring, and he got in the ring and took the mic from Vince. Ric said that this is another example of what he was talking to Vince about a couple weeks ago. Everytime Vince takes a part of his life and makes it real and makes a tribute like he just did with his career, he finds that soft spot in his heart again, but then he does something stupid! Put that wig on, and put his robe on. Who in the hell does he think he is? Vince will never make fun of Ric Flair or get in his face ever again, you got it? Ric said that he's Ric Flair, and Vince is not. Now take off that damn wig now. Ric knocked the wig off of Vince's head, and Ric said told Vince to take his god damn robe off right now before he kicks his ass from one side of Manhattan to the other. Ric told him to do it now and Vince McMahon pulled a pipe out of the robe and he nailed Ric Flair in the head with it and then he took the robe off and stomped on it like a baby! Ric Flair was busted opened, and Vince McMahon grabbed Ric by the hair and then he showed the crowd that Flair was busted open. Vince McMahon then tossed Ric Flair out of the ring and then he gloated in the ring. Ric Flair fought to get up in the ring, but Vince kicked him and then he got out of the ring and he slammed Ric Flair into the steel steps. Vince kicked Flair as he was down, and then he talked trash. Vince then whipped Ric Flair into the steel ring post, head first, and then he rolled Ric Flair back into the ring. Vince told Ric that he's a piece of crap, and that's what he gets! Vince then left as Ric Flair was left in the ring, a bloody mess.

Match #1:
Rob Van Dam vs. Test
Outcome: Test rolled to the outside of the ring. He got mad and grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring. Test shoved the ref down and Rob Van Dam hit the Van Daminator on Test and then Rob went to the top rope and came off with the Five Star Frog Splash on Test and got the 1-2-3 pinfall for the win!
Winner: Rob Van Dam

- A shot of WWF New York is shown, and the music of Trish Stratus hits, and she's there for RAW tonight. Trish is the Women's Champion, and she said what better place to be than WWF New York to deliver some Stratusfaction? Terri showed up, and said that it's great to be back here, and it's also great to be the brand new and better host of WWF Excess. Trish asked Terri what she's doing here? Terri said that Trish is so pathetic with her little Women's Title, strutting around. She knows deep down in her heart that she doesn't measure up to her! Terri is more talented, better looking, more athletic, and that's why she's here to challenge her. Trish questioned that, and Trish asked what type of challenge does she have? A Bra and Panties Match? How about a Lingerie Match? Or the ever exciting Mud Wrestling match? (While this is going on, Jerry Lawler is having a blast) What does she have? Trish said that every challenge she's accepted, she's delivered 100% Stratusfaction guaranteed. Terri suggested that they have a Wet T-shirt contest! Unless Trish is afraid she might lose. Trish told Terri that she's on!

Match #2:
Billy Gunn & Chuck Palumbo vs. Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty
Outcome: Albert nailed Chuck with a scissors kick and then Scotty took Billy down with a bulldog and then he gave him the Worm and pinned him for a two count as Chuck broke it up. Billy got up and gave Scotty the fame-asser and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!
Winner: Billy Gunn & Chuck Palumbo

Match #3:
Intercontinental Title Match
Lance Storm vs. Edge
Outcome: Lance got the half crab on, and Edge was quick to get to the ropes. Lance wouldn't release the hold, and he hammered Edge on the back and then Edge returned the favor. He gave Lance the DDT and pinned him for a three count to get the win!
Winner: And still Intercontinental Champion, Edge

- Edge started to leave as the Intercontinental Champion, but William Regal showed up and he nailed Edge on the stage and then he put the brass knuckles on and nailed Edge right in the face with them to knock him down! WWF officials checked on Edge, but Edge was motionless. The officials finally helped Edge up, and walked him to the backstage area.

Match #4:
Booker T & Bossman vs. The Rock & Stone Cold
Outcome: Austin gave the Bossman a back body drop and then he knocked Booker T down. Austin then gave the Bossman a spinebuster and then Booker T went for a side kick, but Austin avoided it. Austin knocked Booker T down and then he kicked away on the Bossman in the corner. The Rock got back up and went at it with Booker T and the Bossman got the night stick and went to hit Austin, but Austin avoided it and then he gave the Big Bossman the Stone Cold Stunner and then a pin for a three count to get the win!
Winner: The Rock & Stone Cold

- After the match, Stone Cold called for some beers, and then he stood face to face with The Rock and gave The Rock a beer. The two drank beers and celebrated in the ring together!

Match #5:
Non-Title Match
Rikishi vs. Chris Jericho
Outcome: Rikishi gave Chris a super kick into the referee and both the referee and Chris Jericho were down in the corner and Chris bailed out of the ring, and Rikishi gave the referee the stink face! Chris Jericho then got in the ring and nailed Rikishi with the Championship belt and then he pinned Rikishi for a three count to get the win! (It was a very fast count)
Winner: Chris Jericho

- Jim Ross complained, because Nick Patrick didn't even look to see if Rikishi's shoulders were down. (And they weren't)

Match #6:
Tag Team Title Match with Hardcore Rules
Tazz & Spike Dudley vs. Dudley Boyz
Outcome: Stacy Keibler got on the ring apron as Tazz set up a table, and Tazz went over and Stacy turned around and gave Tazz a nice view, and Bubba went to hit Tazz, but Tazz moved, and Bubba got distracted with a nice view as well. Tazz then gave Bubba a nasty suplex onto the table and then Spike gave Bubba the Dudley Dog through the table and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!
Winner: The new Tag Team Champions, Tazz & Spike Dudley

Match #7:
Non-Title Match
Terri vs. Trish Stratus
Outcome: After already soaking down Terri, Jerry Lawler was ready to soak down Trish with a countdown of five. Then, coming from the audience, Jazz entered the ring and gave Trish a vicious DDT. She got on top of Trish and started to hammer away at her. Jerry then came to break it up, and Jazz gave Jerry a dropkick to the knee. Jerry got up, disgusted, and Jazz left the ring with her arms up as she headed for the backstage area.
Winner: No contest

- Triple H's return: Triple H's music hits the arena and the fans went NUTS for the Game! Triple H got a tremendous response as he made his way to the ring, possibly the biggest of the night. Triple H did his posing in the ring and on the ropes, and the back of his jacket looks like a casket? Triple H finally got on the mic, and the crowd just continued to cheer and scream. Triple H just said, "Incase you've forgotten, let him tell us just who in the hell I am! I AM THE GAME!" And you can bet your ass he's back! He is the guy that tonight, officially enters the Royal Rumble! Kurt Angle's music hits to interrupt Triple H, and he made his way out with a mic in his hand. Kurt asked Triple H who the hell he thinks he is? A quad injury kept him out for 8 months! Kurt won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken fricken neck! So Triple H comes back for his big return. The fans started chanting "Asshole, Asshole!" and Kurt said if anyone deserves this time right here right now, it's me! Kurt is glad Triple H is out here to hear his major announcement, because it's even bigger than Triple H's big return, according to Kurt. It's something that everybody's been waiting for. His major announcement is that he, Kurt Angle will also enter the Royal Rumble! His first EVER Royal Rumble! "Want to know why he didn't enter the Rumble last year? Because he was too busy pinning Triple H's ass to the mat. What do you think of that?" Triple H speared Kurt and went at it with him and he backed him into the corner and kicked away on him and then he took his shirt off and then he knocked Kurt down with a hard right hand and then he whipped him off the ropes and Kurt kicked Triple H in the chest. Kurt gave Triple H a German suplex and then he posed. As Kurt Angle was posing, Triple H got up and he knocked Kurt down with a clothesline and he choked him right in the middle of the ring. Triple H then gave Kurt Angle the Pedigree in the center of the ring. The Game is back, folks! After the Pedigree, Triple H stood over Kurt Angle and talked trash and posed in the ring. Triple H then got out of the ring and walked up the ramp and posed as WWF RAW went off the air from Madison Square Garden!
