PART TEN OF "SUPERWOMAN"

Untitled Normal Page

Tonight was the big night. I was gonna become the World Wrestling Federation Women's Champion tonight in the main event. THE MAIN EVENT! I found that hard to believe since Stephanie and I were women. When you're about to become a WWF Champion, you tend to look back on a lot of things. I still haven't gotten used to the fact that I'm a part of this company. Everything just happened so fast. My feud with Trish was absoultely amazing. I got to work with Hunter, Rock, Chris and I even got to work with Benoit. Now, that is awesome. It's good to know that all that led to this night. I can honestly say that hard work, believing in yourself, never giving up and tons of sacrifice really pays off in the end.

Stephanie, Kurt, Hunter, Rock, myself and the boyz were going over what we would do later tonight.

"Okay, I thought about this...Amy goes for the Moonsault but I push her off the apron. Matt and Jeff run over to their side of the ring to beat us up but we dominate them instead." Kurt said.

"Yeah, that'll give you a chance to grab the Women's Championship and get on the apron." Hunter replied.

"Yeah...that'll work. Then, I'll toss Kurt in the ring and then, start punchin' him. Hunter comes from behind, you beat me up a little but Kurt accidentally hits you with the belt. Then, I'll do the Rock Bottom on him." Rock suggested.

It was amazing to see how they came out with these ideas. They've been in the business and just interact with them is a honor that I can't describe. I noticed that Stephanie was holding her belt tight since this was her last night as being the Women's Champion. I wondered how long my title reign would be as they kept on talking.

"Steph tries to hit Dwayne but he gets her instead. Then, I do the Moonsault. 1, 2, 3."

"Sounds good to me. Hope it looks as good as it sounds." Vince said as he walked in the room.

"It will and I promise you that I'll bring back your Women's Division." I said as I smiled innocently.

"Alright. I'm trusting you with my daughter."

"Daddy, don't you say another word. There's enough pressure on Amy as it is. Come on, Amy."

I shrugged and followed Stephanie out of the room. We went back to Women's Locker Room. Trish and Ivory were getting ready for their match later.

"Can you believe that, Trish? Crash finds out we're teaming up and asks me that perverted question." Ivory said.

"What did he say now?" Stephanie asked.

"Do you like it from behind or do you like it where I can see you?" She replied imitating his voice.

"Oh, hell, no. He would've got slapped if he said that to me." I said.

"I want to be on television but I certainly don't wanna team up with him." Ivory said.

"Well, if you're not gonna be grateful, I'll get Jacqueline to take your place." Stephanie sarcastly said.

"No, no, no! I didn't say all that."

"Glad we have understanding...um, can you ladies leave the room for a minute? I need to talk to Amy for a minute." Stephanie said as she looked at her belt.

Everyone laughed so it was just me and Stephanie. I wondered what it was that she wanted. She pulled out two chairs and we both sat down.

"Look, Amy, I just wanted to tell you something...I've really been pushing daddy to bring back the Women's Division and he chose you to bring it all back. The ladies will finally be back on television...that is if you're a good Women's Champion. We're expecting a lot but not too much from you since this is your first time being a champion but the second time you become Women's Champion, you had better work your ass off. This belt means that you're the best female wrestler in the industry...well, we want to get it to that level and we want you to prove that when you're given this." Stephanie explained.

"You know, I feel the same way you do, Steph. I just can't believe that I'm gonna be the World Wrestling Federation Women's Champion in a few hours. I still can't believe I'm here. I thought I was gonna be at ECW for quite awhile but knowing that there's no Women's Division there or at WCW, that belt you got does mean you're the best female wrestler and I promise I'll live up to your expectations this time and second time around. I wonder how my fans will react to it...that's another thing. I have fans! Little ol' me!"

"Well, after tonight, you'll have more."

I was crying hysterically as Matt held me in his arms while he smiled since he was so proud of me. Jeff looked on. I held onto MY BELT tight. I was actually a WWF Champion and I had only been here for eight months,
God was truly blessing me. This was amazing, I couldn't stop crying.

"Hush, baby. Don't cry."

"I can't help it, Matt. I'm the Women's Champion! I'm the Women's Champion." I sobbed onto Matt's shoulder.

"I know. I know. I remember when we first won the Tag Team Championships. Jeff cried."

"It's just been such a long road, Matt. Everything I've been through to get here paid off tonight. Oh, my god." I sobbed again as I looked at the Women's Championship.

"That is a pretty belt." Jeff observed.

I laughed and wiped my tears away. Jeff was actually supporting me tonight. I found that hard to believe. He made me laugh, rather than made me mad.

"Your phone's ringing." Jeff pointed my cell phone.

I walked over to the phone and looked at the Caller ID. Yep, it was Tommy. Me and Tommy had been close friends when I was ECW and we still kept in touch. His character, Tommy Dreamer, was pretty cool. I couldn't watch her anymore since my schedule was so consuming.

"What's up, girl!" I said.

"What's up, Women's Champion?" He replied.

"Oh, my god. You're gonna make me cry again."

"I had a feeling you were, that's why it took me so long to call. How does it feel?"

"Unbelieveable. I'm the best female wrestler. Can you believe that shit? Man!"

"No, I remember when you were here like yesterday just like you can remember your first day of training."

"I sure can. That was way back in Mexico in '96, man. I was accompanying Val Venis to the ring back then." I laughed as I reminisced and swung my belt across my shoulder.

"For real? He is very talented."

The next thing I knew, Matt was wrapping his arm around me and was smelling my hair. He kissed me on the cheek.

"Let's go somewhere. Tell Tommy you'll call her back."

I smiled evilly and kissed him back.

"Did you hear that, Tommy?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You guys go fuck each other. Don't forget to use a condom."

"You tryin' to play me. I'll call you later. Gotta go celebrate!" I said as I looked at my belt for the hundredth time.

"Alright. Bye."

My popularity had went through the roof ever since I became the Women's Champion. A lot more people watched the WWF than I thought. I noticed that more signs with my character's name on it lately. I noticed all the HUGE pops me and the boyz were getting. Joann told me that the numbers of hits my site gets has really increased as well. This was amazing. It just goes to show you how a dream come turn into a reality. Five years ago, I thought my profession was stupid. Now, I loved it. I still couldn't believe I was in the WWF and on top of that, the World Wrestling Federation Women's Champion! Everyday, I would just stare at my belt in awe and would end up crying. The females were on television more and I was starting to become a well-respected champion.

Jeff and me were getting along much better. You could tell in some of our matches. I guess he was proud of my accomplishments. I really don't know but still, everything seemed to be going fine between me and him. This Sunday was a big day for the boyz. It was gonna be a huge Pay Per View, Unforgiven. Matt and Jeff were scheduled to take on Adam and Jason in a Steel Cage Match for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships. It would be so cool if we could have all the gold but this match meant a lot to the boyz, especially Matt. We hadn't talked that much lately since he was trying to be physically fit for the match. I admired that about him. I admired a lot about the boyz and hopefully, nothing bad would happen this Sunday. I was a little nervous myself because I had to interfere and do a Hurricanrana from a ladder onto Jason. I had been doing Hurricanranas for years but nothing like this.

If I thought I was nervous, the boyz were more nervous than I were. They were gonna become the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions. They were gonna become the best tag team in the world. They were gonna get something that they really deserved and they were gonna get something that meant the world to them. I couldn't be more proud of Matt and Jeff. I felt special since I was gonna be managing the Tag Team Champions. I giggled every time I thought about that. On top of that, I WAS STILL THE WOMEN'S CHAMPION!!!

*************

I was breathing hard as I was pacing. I started to sweat a little. It was hot as hell in here for some reason or maybe it was just me. I wish I was in Matt's arms. Joanie had to escort me out of the room because I couldn't stop crying when they showed Matt's face with all that blood over it. As soon as I saw that blood, I broke down crying. People don't know how hard it is to see your boyfriend bleed, especially to see him in a Steel Cage Match and knowing that all you can do is sit and watch. Sometimes, I wonder if there are any people out there who really appreciate all the sacrifices Matt and Jeff make just to entertain these fans. Watching my man in pain certainly made me feel like hell. If I had my way, I would be holding him in my arms comforting him singing him to sleep. Yeah, I sang Matt to sleep sometimes. I see sides of Matt that nobody else sees and I guess that's what made me cry since I had to watch I'm so used to seeing the soft side of Matt. I waited behind the curtain as I heard the crowd getting loud. I knew it was Jeff. I ran back to the TV.

"You're supposed to be doing the Hurricanrana now!" Hunter said.

My jaw dropped as Jeff took off his shirt. He was actually gonna do it. He talked about doing a Corkscrew Moonsault from the top of the cage in the car but I thought he was playing.

"Oh, shit!" We all yelled as he did it.

"Oh, my god. I got to get the hell out of here." I said as I left the room and ran my fingers through my hair.

"Amy?! GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE!" The production dude yelled at me.

I ran to the curtain and then ran out. I tried not to concentrate on the crowd as I got closer and closer to Jason. The people started to chant my character's name. I gave Jay a Low Blow, Matt glanced at me. I tried not to look at him 'cause I'd end up crying. I began to climb the cage. When I got high enough, I wrapped my legs around Jason's head. I sighed, let go and fell back. I closed my eyes until I felt the ground. I hit the ground hard and let out a sigh of relief. I had never been so nervous in my life. I worked an injury until I saw Matt and Jeff's feet hit the ground.

I got in the back-seat of the car with my belt in my hand and waited for the boyz. They were still bragging about the Tag Team Champions. I thought that was so adorable. I gave Matt a big ol' kiss as soon as we got behind the curtain. I was surprised when I saw them cry. It's very rare you see a man cry. I stared back at my belt in awe yet again as I waited for the boyz. I spotted them and they looked very pi*sed off for some reason. I wondered why since they had just became the best tag team in the world. They tossed their stuff in the bag and got in.

"What's wrong, Jeff?" I asked.

"Shut up, Amy."

"Why you gotta be so mean, man? I'm just asking what's wrong with-"

"DAMNIT, AMY! SHUT UP! I DON'T FEEL LIKE TALKIN' TO YOU!"

"We have a Ladder Match tomorrow." Matt said.

My eyes got big and I looked at Matt like he was crazy.

"Whatever, man." I replied.

"I didn't believe it either. The production people said they want to make the first Raw on TNN memorable so they're making us wrestle with the belts on the line in a Ladder Match. Chris and Sean got a First Blood Match tomorrow too." Matt explained.

I looked at Jeff and tried to run my fingers through his head to apologize but he pushed my hand away.

"I know you're sorry. I am too. Just don't touch me right now. I need to sleep. This is some far out shit." Jeff said.

I looked at my Women's Championship and sighed.

"Thank God I ain't no man." I said to myself.
