You want a witty little piece, don't you? A smirk about my outrageous character. A smattering of my personal history. A declaration of love for Alan Rickman and Bradley Whitford.

Well . . . good. I can do that.

My name, as you may (or may not) have guessed, is Melina. I write under the name MelWil, a name left over from my Bronzing Days. My birthday is 29th Decmber 1981, which makes me a damn stubborn Capricorn. I live in Bris-Vegas, but I'm ashamed about not living in typical student slobbishness.

I have been in fandom since 1985-6 when I was obsessed with Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock. This tilt towards fandom has been changed and moulded over the years and I have at times been obsessed with (in kinda chronological order) Famous Five, Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Valley, Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, West Wing, M*A*S*H and Harry Potter.

I have been writing fan fiction since mid-2001. At first I was a West Wing only author. However I was corrupted by the allure of Harry Potter and pulled into the seedy worlds of M*A*S*H, Buffy and Angel. I've also had dangerous thoughts about Famous Five, Mallory Towers, Sweet Valley, Baby-Sitters Club and The Sound of Music.

When I'm not writing, I can be found dancing, teaching, reading or hanging out with the Wibblers.
