| Teays Valley Christian Church was founded on Sunday, Sept. 29, 1985. Thirty-nine people came from Culloden to start this congregation. In 1986 they moved into the current building, where we've been going strong ever since. | |||||||||||||||||||
| What We Believe | |||||||||||||||||||
| We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. We follow the plan of salvation laid out in the Bible. First, you need to hear the word. Next, you need to believe the word. You need to confess Jesus as your Savior and repent of your sins. Then you need to be baptized to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38) And you need to live for Jesus. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Purpose | |||||||||||||||||||
| The purpose of the Teays Valley Christian Church is "to carry out the program of Christ as expressed in the New Testament (Matt. 28:18-20); that is, the winning of souls to Christ throughout the world, and providing a local church home for the spiritual development of those in this community. | |||||||||||||||||||
