While
working as an avionics technician I was responsible for the repair
of various electronics systems of many military aircraft including
C-130 cargo, A-7 attack, and search and rescue helicopters. This
included flight line as well as depot level maintenance of radio's,
radar systems, altimeters, and navigational systems.
My
duties in consumer electronics included selling, installing, and
maintaining home entertainment equipment such as tv's, stereo's, and
antenna systems. Duties in radio communications was similar to
the above except that I installed two-way radio systems and
antenna's which are almost extinct now due to the cellular phones in
use today.
As a
precision measurement equipment technician I was responsible for
repairing and calibrating electronic and mechanical testing
equipment. This included oscilloscopes, frequency generators and
counters, voltage and current measuring devices, tensiometers,
torque wrenches, pressure gauges, and temperature measuring systems.
I am now studying for my A+/Network+ Certification and HTML
for designing WEB pages.
