To the other races in the galaxy the Orin are the elders the people to ask for advice and the people who will always listen to a problem and give wise advice as to how to aid the situation at hand. Respected for their wisdom and abilities to use the arcane most races welcome the Orin with open arms. The Lazari and the Visulan have had rocky relations with the Orin due to their “essence vampirism” but they keep their problems between each other and never let it grow into any trouble.
The Orin employee technology in equal to the arcane and their cities are seen by some as the most wonderful places in the galaxy due to the amount of arcane essence used to power a host of different hybrid technologies. Strongest allies to the Orin are the Loobra, a race who views balance in all forms as paramount the Orin welcome them with open arms for their beliefs and ideals. While you don’t see many Visulan or Lazari near the Orin home planet even they cannot all be kept away from the knowledge they possess due to their minor prejudice.
The Orin are a race of understanding, free ideas and peace of course if they had a dark side in the eyes of their cosmic neighbors it would be the Ko’sik or Orin Judge as they are most commonly referred to by races like the Axis and Arleon. The Ko’sik are what many call the “first Ones” the first beings put in the universe to keep the balance and peace, they are said to be gate keepers able to bring the soul into the after life and their presence never goes unnoticed. The Ko’sik ideals are unknown the main population of Orin do not deal with them and avoid them as regularly as any other race would.
Races like the Visulan think the Ko’sik are nothing more than a cult of Orin who have learned to devour the soul through their abilities to devour magical essence of course others like the Xeluios Goraganthor believe that the main population of Orin are just weak Ko’sik who’s abilities have diminished so much all they can do is drain small amounts of essence.
The Orin are a monarchy their royal family over sees all aspects of the government and it is their prince who is present at the galactic councils.
Physical Appearance: A normal Orin male stands at 7’ and is very slender normally only 180lbs. The Orin female stand around 6 ½ normally weighing in at 130lbs both male and female Orin have a normal life span of 200 years medical technology improves even this figure.
The Planet Falius: The surface burned by their sun going super nova has caused most life to be destroyed yet deep underground their cities thrive and boom with life both exotic and domestic to their planet. Even with the damage to Falius the underground rivers and lakes as well as the Orin’s abilities to Adapt have made their planet livable even after such a catastrophe.
